Ordering & shipping
Where do you ship?
Shipping is included free anywhere in the United States, including Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. At this time we can’t ship to military APO/FPO/DPO addresses or outside the US.
When will my order ship?
We typically ship orders Monday through Friday and strive to get packages into the shipping stream within 1–3 days of an order being placed. We’ll promptly notify you if we think your order will ship outside this window. Please budget an additional 1–2 days of production time for personalized items.
Will the package give away the surprise?
No. Each completed gift box is packaged in a brown kraft box and then placed inside a larger, sturdy shipping box. No identifying labels appear anywhere on the package.
Do the kits arrive ready to go?
Yes — all kits are shipped fully assembled. Once unpacked, all you need to do is add the seals, if desired, to the envelope and box.
Can I cancel my order?
Order cancellations are accepted before the item has shipped. Please make your request within that timeframe.
What is your return policy?
We don’t accept returns or exchanges. If there’s any issue with your order, please contact us.
The kits & letters
What comes in a tooth fairy kit?
Each kit includes a themed favor box filled with paper shred and curated trinkets, plus a story-filled letter and envelope and a wax envelope seal with adhesive backing. Most kits also include a sticker seal for the box. Each product page lists exactly what’s inside.
What age are the kits for?
The letters are written to be enjoyed by children five years of age or older. Kits are not recommended for children under three, or older children who may be inclined to ingest small items, as most kits contain small parts.
How long are the letters?
Most letters are six or more pages long. They’re detailed and story-like, written in English with a fun and cheerful tone, and include fun facts and jokes along with brief descriptions of the items in the box. Every letter is signed by the fairy for that theme. Letters are printed in 10.5-point type and the envelope is approximately 2.25″ × 2.25″.
Will the trinkets look exactly like the photos?
Some items vary in style from what’s pictured. Those items are marked “styles vary” in each kit’s list of contents.
Personalization
What can be personalized?
The envelope. You can add your child’s name in script style or block style. At this time, we do not offer personalization of the tooth fairy letter itself.
How are names applied?
Names are applied in matte black permanent adhesive vinyl, and colorful embellishments are added by hand with high-quality markers. Colors and styles may vary.
My child’s name is long or has accents. Can you do it?
For names longer than 8 letters, or with special accents and diacritical marks, please contact PixieLoot before purchasing so we can make sure we can accommodate your request.
Does personalization take longer?
Yes. Personalized envelopes are made to order, so please allow 1–2 days of additional production time.
Tooth Fairy Hydration Kit
How does the Hydration Kit work?
At night, children leave out a glass of water along with their tooth. In a secret second glass, an adult adds colored powder to make the desired hue. After the child is asleep, the adult swaps the glasses. In the morning, the child discovers that the fairy took a sip — and the water changed to the color of their wings!
How many uses does it include?
Each Tooth Fairy Hydration Kit contains enough supplies for approximately 12 uses. Additional powders and straws are available to prolong use of the kit — just contact us.
Can my child see the kit?
Yes, part of it! Materials for adults are clearly labeled and can be kept out of sight in the original packaging, while a separate inner gift box can be given directly to children.
Safety
Is there anything I should watch out for?
Most kits contain small parts that can present a choking hazard — do not allow children to eat or consume any toys or trinkets. Some kits include products such as slime or clay that may stain fabrics or porous surfaces, and some contain stickers or tape that can damage wood and tile; test a small area before widespread play. A few select kits contain jewelry and other items with sharp points. Adult supervision is strongly advised.
